Ash’s Bulbasaur is the very best, other facts not mentioned:

* Before joining Ash’s team, he was the leader/protector of the “pokemon sanctuary”

* After the S.S.Anne sank, he used vine whip to reach a door above the flames

* He, like Pikachu, refused to evolve, even when Venasaur tried to evolve him (in the nature the pokemon cannot refuse evolution, and it’s the same if the trainer isn’t there to stop the process)

* In the first “project pikachu” short film, he showed he’s not only strong but kind, singing a lullaby and rooking Togepi

*In Indigo league defeated Beedrill and Scyther in a row, only falling against Bellsprout because he was tired

He’s the absolute boss in Oak’s range, helping keep harmony between all pokemon, trained and visitors from the wild
